yes.. im back from japan.. sorry.. still havent had the energy to update..
part of me got left behind in japan too~
hehe.. only the sick half is back in singapore, dragging herself to work.. and coughing her lungs out in the stale cold air of the lab..
wat to do.. the cruel truth of life... work..
will prob put up the photos etc etc this weekend.. hope i get down to doing so~ ^^
Japan, is GREAT! weather? wasn't that unbearable! But now that im back.. Singapore is like a sauna!~ *faintz*

life continues to get more complicated as days pass by.. now i can't figure when im happy/sad.. awake/sleeping ... might be the after effects of downing all the pills to curb that pesky cough of mine.. *sigh*

finally selected 300 out of 548 photos which i took on the japan trip. just so that i could upload 150 for April and 150 in May.. (mi multiply mthly limit)
Sis is consolidating all the photos from the 3 cameras.. which will prob add up to at least 900? so that's all just going into a dvd or smth..
Japan was great.. i needa go there again sometime when im not sick to properly enjoy the weather.. and the food.. was eating very little cos of my pesky cough..
anyways.. the tour package wasnt that great either.. cos its a bit too "touch-and-go".. din have enuff time to explore.. so gotta do Free&Easy the nxt time.. :)

the weather was very cold.. abt 10 to 14 deg C while i was there.. except for Mt Fuji which was at 2.5 deg C. Rainy most days.. but the rain isn't as wet as back here in singapore...


Tokyo Disneyland.. got a picture with my favourite sleepy dwarf who isn't too dwarfy.. :P



Sakuras!~ waahh.. was so lucky.. they were blooming everywhere :D



Toilets were amazing.. clean.. with either disposable seat covers, antiseptic sprays to wipe the seats or just clean. The sinks were auto.. and in working condition.. always manage to detect ur movement.. (if you know wat im trying to say.. some dun work very well here .. )
People were amazing.. polite! and very considerate! Escalator courtesy was funny too.. they will really stand at one side of the escalators.. ^^

Finally got a try at the hotspring.. hehe misheard my cuz saying "you gotta get in quickly" and i jumped in.. luckily just the lower body.. it was DARN HOT! she was saying "don't get in too quickly.." -_- But photos aren't allowed.. haha cos we get in naked ;P~

Authentic Japanese food is sooooo sooooo mouth watering :D~ and there's just food everywhere! i mean EVERYWHERE!~ And all the nice nice food with nicenice pretty packaging.. :P~

This was the best meal we had throughout the whole trip.. the night we stayed at the hotspring place.. haha..


And waking up to see the perfect view of Mt Fuji the next morning.. :)

Japan, Watch out for watashi!~ ^^

was very happy last nite meeting feng and wen after jap class..
altho was feeling a bit sick... still and tired also.. it was very refreshing to meet up these 2 excited girls to gossip and grumble and make them watch mi eat mi late dinner. haha ;D
and finally saw feng with her braces too lor! ^^ so cute~
feng's the "follow the heart" type, and wen's the "must be sensible.." type.. by being sensible, doesn't mean no heart okie! but just the more sensible choice.. with alot of analysis.. ;P

so depending on wat i wanna hear, i'll decide who to call mostly..
so funny.. ;)
but girls, i've decided liao la! ^^ make a guess ba! haha~

weekend's gonna pass very quickly.. and then i will be at Japan! can't wait.. ;D alredi in the shopaholic mood liao oh!~

finally took mc and rested at home todae.. didn't sleep as well as i hoped to cos mi dear wangwang kept barking for attention.. *sob*
managed to finally check out Rainie's new album "Meeting Love" .. still preferring the 1st album tho.. but i'm just resistant to changes.. will eventually like it just like how i liked Aurora after a long long time..

so weird.. this evening, mi lil sis asked mi "jie, would you mind if ur bf hugged another girl?" I told her it depends... well, depends on wat kind of relationship ur bf has with the girl, wat kind of girl she is...

then later in the nite, mi god-brother asked mi, "jie, what to do so that a girl is not angry for knowing that another girl likes the guy she loves?" my answer.. "it depends..." and i asked if he's close to this other girl.. cos he needs to assure this gf of his by letting her know she's important.. in front of this other girl..

suddenly i became some ai qing gu wen... but i'm not doing so well at it miself.. haha :P
i think im better off asleep.. can spare miself from thinkin so much.. but had a really strange dream this afternoon.. not a good thing.. *sigh*

gotta have an early nite.. still need to get rid of that drowsy feeling all the pills are giving me... mi voice is so soft i find it tiring to talk.. lets hope it finds its way back to my voicebox tomorrow.. :)

Actually, i dun really remember taking the photo.. tats how bad it was.. Blacked out for longer than ever.. and puked all mi dinner out after tat.. very sad.. now im wonderin if i shud just quit drinking altogether.. [sob]

was out all sunday.. went to see the chinese physician first thing in the morning.. did a back massage therapy before he had time to stick 2 syringes into mi wrist to draw out the "gel-like" substance which was causing discomfort in mi wrist since mi fall on the escalator weeks ago.. *sigh*

very bo liao.. this is wat was done to mi lunch.. but quite cute rite.. din taste very good tho.. :P


managed to get some shopping done too.. very satisfied with mi buys.. ^^ got 2 pairs of jeans, 2 casual tops and a new "school" bag.. hehe~

My first experience with Turkish cuisine~ :D
not bad.. if not for the friendly waiter who invited me to take a look and try smth new, i might not have noticed this little restaurant(DeliTurk Food) located at Sky Garden, Suntec.



This is called the Red Lentil soup. The friendly waiter suggested for mi to squeeze a few drops of lemon to bring out the taste of the soup better.. hmm.. the soup ma.... interesting.. never had anything like it before.. :P~



This is the Humus Salad which goes pretty well with Pide bread. again.. interesting stuff!~



Grilled Kofte - minced meat. The darker colored pieces are Lamb and lighter coloured ones are chicken. Very nice!~ a little salty but the rice it came with tastes really good with the meat.



This shud look more familiar.. Doner Kebab!~ hee.. well tastes like the usual kebab.. very nice.. :)

haha really sweet.. but very very tasty! reminded me of something but till now i can't recall what it tastes like. But gotta thank the waiter for recommending this.. really nice ne! :)

The whole meal came with free Turkish tea served in such cute tiny glasses.. hehee :D

Well.. thats all for the recommendation. Price is very reasonable~ :) think its worth a try if u actually want some authentic turkish food and have never tried it before.. i can't make any comparisons since tis was mi first experience.. but it was not too bad yah yah? ^^

.... just saw a letter from Star**b thanking me for my continued support! -_-" i've been their mobile user for 8 yrs, and cable subscriber for 4 yrs... and never got ANY thank you vouchers watsoever~ and NOW! i've upgraded my phone plan, got a new phone and extended my contract for 2 yrs, and they send mi a letter with 2 phones on $0 offers with a 2 year mobile plan! valid only for MY PHONE LINE!~ we know how it is that if the contract is less than 18 mths, we needa pay some extra sum of $$ etc etc.. geez.. how stupid can they get? feel like calling to give them a piece of my mind.. argh!

makes me wonder why i stuck with them for 8 yrs when i get bad reception at home, terrible reception in my room and HARDLY any reception at work! i think its cos im too lazy to change a phone number and inform the whole world abt it.. Star**b has me round their little finger..

feelin kinda vexed.. think wenwen hit bullseye last nite.. we're both sian.. stagnant in our lives.. stuck with work and making no effort to change wats going on at all.. i'm starting to feel lost again.. like just going with the flow.. no longer so certain wat im doing is right (or wrong by any chance..) *sigh*
