Just something that has been on my mind...
Blogs and online journals are great avenues to share information.. but anyone ever considered alot of Intellectual Property (IP) is also lost? Feels awkward sometimes.. seeing alot of similarity everywhere.. Maybe the new age causes people to lose individuality..

Anyways my new yr wish is to be sick less!
4 fevers in 2007 has definitely made mi a little dumber and closer to the "dumb blonde" i had secretly wished to become.. wahaha :D

Looking for some exotic food place to have a christmas eve meal together.. we ended up going to Arab Street. Amirah's grill looked like a nice place to sit and chat and try some turkish food too~ ;)

We settled for this one, although it felt a little warm... but a mix of couches and cushions, seemed really homely and comfy~

We had some really good and truly exotic food which was new to my food dictionary... especially the hummus dip!! was simply too tasty!~

23rd dec was a good time to meet, just in time before Betty flew back to L.A. and we finally met Ms Tan (JC Physics teacher).
Betty's at YahOO!!~ and Ms Tan is at MOE HQ. So nice.. all my JC teachers still look the same, if not younger.. how come ah!!

Meanwhile.. i'm waitin for SohCheng and Betty to share their photos.. and i gotta upload mine somewhere too..

As usual we will gather at ah-Seng's house.. and play games... not LAN gaming this time~ Just Mahjong, Nintendo Wii & Board games.. but since I was at the board games table..

Seng booked a table for us at a casual fine dining place called 'Friends'. Like the name of the restaurant.. Food was pretty good and price is still reasonable considering its in between Fine & Casual dining ~ :D

A fun-filled, exciting and tasty Christmas! My first Christmas with Borland :)
Together with Zana & Michelle, lots of "meetings and discussions" and a SUPER late nite till 12+ the night before to prepare for the Christmas games everyone had been waiting for~ Tiring.. but worth it :)

A treasure hunt where we cordoned off a small area of the office and hid 60 candy-canes (16 were not found!!)

A gathering for post-cheryl-bday and pre-grandmaster-bday at vivo turned out more like a christmas gathering~ As usual on a friday nite u would be expecting to queue forever to get a seat at a restaurant so we ended up at our "favourite" white dog cafe where we managed to get the last available table~ "favourite" becos we always end up there somehow.. cos.. theres no queue?? :P

MMMmmmm~~ had my favourite steak sandwich with wasabi mayo ;)

But u'll be surprised at how much these guys are happy to take photos with the christmas tree!! We were heading for some traditional kopitiam coffee at ToastBox but ended up testing our photography skills with the Christmas tree for a little bit~

I had the greatest and longest laughs on thursday 29th November 2007 when my colleagues planned a surprise party for me. Unfortunate for them i seemed to stumble in at the wrong times like...

when cindy was trying to dig up a candle then zana had to distract me. Each time they tried to cover up was just funny for me.. hehee~ How ah.. being too smart isn't fun sometimes.. i can't get tricked but at least i can laugh :D

alan and ani appeared at the lift where my lunch clique gathers to go for lunch.. i turned to zana and said "something's suspicious.." and that girl grinned and turned away!
** suspicion 3 **
Then alan asked "so where we going for lunch!" and someone said "atrium" and alan went "har?! atrium???" by then ani had disappeared, leaving alan entering the lift with us alone! *faint* Thow wee and Mich had disappeared and Eric had a lunch appointment. Seems pretty normal still.. and they REALLY took mi for a walk in the Atrium foodcourt (which almost threw me off guard) until...
** suspicion 4 **
mohammed went "the muslim food today looks really sucky man, lets go somewhere else!" Haha~ so we walked to TCC in German Centre where mich and tw were alredi waitin..

Thanks to my colleagues for being ever so thoughtful.. they really went and got mi stuff i liked! A new charmed bracelet which they handpicked charms, a new jade four-leaf clover cos im always so unlucky.. and Chopper tissue box cover which i had wished for CHRISTMAS??? a party mask, some Japanese apple candy and a anti-wrinkle cream.... :(

Got a lift home in his week-old white Mitsubishi Lancer too! Horrible major told mi the carlock was using biometric sensors and only he and his wife can open it. argh!~ i seriously fell for it thinking "oooo now cars are very high tech"!!
