Dinner at Sakae! Wah.. been having craving for japanese food for some time now.. just hadn't had any time till Vday! Lucky for me, my dinner dates were okay with sushi & Sashimi~



After dinner was time for some drinks.. not alcoholic tho.. just coffee and hot chocolate for me.. :(

Although some of us were meeting for the 1st time, dinner still went pretty well. Wahaha!~ *evil laugh*

My colleagues went to JB on that day.. *sob* I had wanted to go.. but i had an important task okie.. :P

For an interesting meal concept, this might be a good place to go to. Especially if you were feeling rich and on a diet! :P

Although it wasn't alot of food, but it was an experience nevertheless. ;) And the food looks good rite? Gotta give it some credit for tasting good too! And its also HEALTHY!

A true reunion for a good yr ahead. We had full attendance! Can you believe it!? Those guys.. lied abt not coming for dinner at first.. giving mi problems with the waiters when they were arranging tables.. :( But.. so glad everyone came.

2nd to 4th Feb @ Bangkok...

My 3rd time to Bangkok (1st time with Phia) was a little disappointing.. Had been looking forward to getting another one of those Traditional Thai Massage.. but, that gave me cramps in my right calf and shoulder ache for a few days.. :(
Advice: Go to a recommended Thai Massage place if you have to. Else, go to Health Land Spa & Massage at Sathorn, they are Quality Certified. Although its a bit pricy.. at 450baht per hr, you get a private room and a guaranteed good massage. Twice i've been there and they're really good! My regrets this time round..

As usual, I didn't fail to get sick on a trip. Had a terrible migraine. But thankfully, me and phia were meeting siang for dinner at Suan Lom Night Bazaar.. so got him to help me buy painkillers in the most reliable language: Thai. I say reliable.. cos everytime we asked for price in english, it nvr fails to be shockingly expensive. Sadly.. that made my shopping turn out a little less than hoped for.
Nevertheless, ny achievements after 1.5 days of shopping..


10th Feb @ Singapore

Tuition was extremely tiring today. With common tests and class tests before and after CNY.. *sweat* Dear students, your teacher also feels the pressure you know?
Had to make sure I could cover as much as possible, in the speediest method I could. This is why I talk so fast yah?? Cos there's too much to say in too short a time. well.. 9.30am to 3.45pm.. first time 2 classes took me this long.

The shopping spree doesn't end when chinese new yr is just round the corner, well next weekend... :) Went shopping with Bing this afternoon.. after a good meal (my lunch+dinner) at Jack's Place. Bing always manages to get me to buy stuff somehow.. her "Try lah, since you're here already".. just works even though my shoulders were stiff and my legs were aching..
But shopping was fun~ Managed to get a few more pieces mostly with recommendation from the storeowners/sales people...

This is like 1 mth overdue now.. haha.. forgot all abt the photo. Took it outside Mind Cafe beside Hark Music Cafe/School at Prinsep Place. I wanted to take pics during the games but couldn't cos of that game.. was it called "Say It"? (The one that Wu Zhong Xian plays on this variety show where everyone has to place a card on their forehead the 'Indian poker' way and others will try to make that person say wats on the card). Well, I taught half of us how to play Bonanza.. ^^ and we played other strange games we never seemed to finish. Oh.. and that one like Heart Attack.. eh.. geez.. i forget names.. sorry. :P

Had anticipated the need to OT till late originally.. cos of the template report we had to come up with.. Now we have product teams.. and committees.. so there's just double the amt of work we used to have.. tiring..
Managed to get things up by 7.30pm.. decided to head down to Bugis to meet Edward and Chris afterall.. its always nice cos we've been through alot of shit together.. that kinda thing brings pple together. The rest of the gang couldnt make it though..
Dinner was at Basil Alcove, a small dinner place near the junction between Sunshine Plaza, Fortune Center...

Very worth the price, and it tasted good. Avocado sauce was refreshing too after eating so much ketchup. haha ;)

Overall rating: Good! Price was reasonable, food tasted pretty good. Only down point is, there's no aircon.. and i was feeling really HOT. But the boss makes it a point to provide good service. Very polite too, so it's still cool!~

Been years since I had to wake up before 7am to go to work or school that is.. Alarm at 6.30am.. left home at 7.15am. Video conference at 8am. Wow.. tiring.. Couldn't sleep. I'm like a kid again.. kept waking up in the middle of the night checking the time.. worrying that i'll oversleep. :'(

How does meeting ur ex-boss at ur new workplace sound? I was practically shaking.. with excitement and anxiety. I did tell YCM i was coming to Borland yeah? But who would have expected that he had been invited to a sales presentation here? Spotting another colleague Audrey that I knew personally, I went to say hi at the pantry. Said hi to YCM after that.. he took some time to remember my name... aii.. hahaha~ :)

Luckily I get to look forward to tomorrow!~ Going to BKK for the weekend to shop like mad... wish me luck to stay safe k? So much commotion in bkk these days.. + there's the soccer match on sat. I just wanna go for a good massage and shop.. *"*
