was mich's bday.. which fell on the same day as her Malaysian National Day. Cool~ just teasin her, all of us wished her "Happy National Day" instead. haha ;)

So i had mi chicken smth smth from the set lunch menu again.. wasn't as good as the 1st time i had it though :(

Having had so much cake from secret recipe in the mth of August, we decided to get her a sundae instead. heee~ Yay~ Happy birthday! (isn't the tortoise cute?)


And then cindy got mich to have a cherry too~ haha wats with us and posing for photos with cherries in our mouths? :P

went with feng & her colleagues and other friends for ktv @ Party World, Clementi.. haha was an entertaining session.. a good mixture of Singaporeans, Germans, Chinese, a vietnamese and a swedish~

*Stuck in the rain*
met boonk for lunch today.. but got stuck in JEC cos it started pouring again! (again, cos it was pouring all morning when going to work too ) aii.. time was running out cos he had to meet another client.. so ended up he had to get drenched to drive the car over where mi was nice and sheltered.. :P

*Scolded by parking attendant*
was advicing boonk to park in Strategy since he was meetin his client there.. saw 38 free parking lots, so happily directed him to the entrance of the narrow carpark until this woman SLAPPED my window real hard. *scared* she shouted "why are u pple just driving in like this!!" (we were just following the car in front okie..) It was a rainy afternoon.. i had no idea she was trying to redirect traffic by standing in the middle of the road holding her umbrella tightly.. -_-

*Heel got stuck*
anyways.. dropped of at the lobby and rushed into the lift. While getting out, mi heel got stuck in the gap between the lift and the lift frame. darn scary, no one was holding the lift door open and i was freaking out cos i couldnt get that stupid heel out. :( finally mi took mi foot out and a guy bent down to pick out mi heel.. *embarassed*

*Injured a stranger's toe with a book*
went to kino after work to look for some jlpt books.. and dropped a hardcover book 'sharp-end' first onto the toe of another lady.. :P argh!! so clumsy.. and ended up hurting smone else.. sorry :(

*Lost my atm card*
left kino for axs to pay mi credit card bills.. keyed in everything nicely.. all set to pay thru nets and O_O i couldnt find mi atm card.. super freaked out can... just settled it on the phone with a POSB 24hr service operator.. nice guy.. thank goodness.. so apparently mi card was cancelled on the day i dropped it.*phew*

lets hope for a better tomorrow! YAY!

Altho was a busy week for all of us especially Satish cos he had to complete his handover and all.. still managed to take time out to have some coffee @ Spinelli downstairs in Strategy, IBP.


I have to exclaim, how nice they made mi coffee look with the leafy design! Cindy says they use a toothpick to do it.. :P~

Will miss this colleague and his crappy company~ hehee :D

hmm was feeling quite low when mi found out a colleague had resigned. A pity cos he is one of the easy-going and fun loving type. As a colleague he was initiative and responsible.. mabbe i should say responsive too.. looks like work place culture is slowly evolving.. :(

Finally~ many thanks to Satish for buying us cakes~

there's actually so many places to eat around office area.. hehee~ original plan was to head out to West Coast for some hawker food.. but zana's car battery died on us.. hee~

First time i tried pushing a car too.. in attempt to jumpstart it.. but all we managed was to leave some finger prints on ur unwashed yellow sports car.. hehee :D but hey! its not too tough to push a 2litre car when its on neutral gear! *surprised!*

Anyways, zana was so depressed by her luck that morning, we made our way to the German Centre in IBP and settled for some classy TCC food for lunch~ Well.. surprisingly the ambience was really relaxing for a Monday afternoon.


The food portion was huge too!~ think its to cater to the germans working there~ Not bad! And the dessert was great! Although I can't remember what its called but made of White, Milk and Dark chocolate, its heavenly for any chocolate lover!!

On my way to pick Bing up.. waitin at her carpark in Pasir Ris.. mi odometer showed 999.0km from mi last servicing. hee~ :D


Usually on dad's bday we'll go to our favourite Yishun Lake Restaurant @ OCC but cos this yr it was booked for some company event, we settled for 2nd best, Hilltop Restaurant @ Club CSC (Bukit Batok)


Again credit to phiaphia for doing up the photos so nicely~ A pity that mi brother-in-law was at Germany cos of work.. but we had a great dinner! And managed to get the VIP room too~ hee :D Great VIP service and all~


A 10-course meal for 10 people. We had all the good food (shark's fin, abalone, sea cucumber, tiger prawns, etc etc..) burnt a hole in the charmed sisters' pockets too~ :P But was worth it! *tasty!!*


And the cool thing abt VIP rooms is that u get TV and karaoke!~


Thanks to xiaoyi for rushing to get a durian cake before coming for dinner. Cake looks really pretty ne~

Always loved ice-cream and chocolates! hee~ This is the uncle that comes to IBP every thursday, parks his little ice-cream stall under a tree opposite Atrium foodcourt in the center of IBP.


Once a week we'll try to make it to Atrium for lunch, chat with uncle and get our ice-cream! for just $1, u get a HUGE piece of ice-cream sandwiched in crispy wafer biscuits (latest flavour: BLUEBERRY RIPPLE) or in a soft bakery-style bread. And of cos you can opt for the more TRADITIONAL ice-cream that comes in 3 flavours most usually uncle will have chocolate, atapchee and corn. nice :D the 'not-so-sweet' traditional ice-cream will save u the guilt for having it heee~


Only in Europe? Or just Germany?? Gifts from bing~ Ferrero Garden (Strawberry, Almond, Pistachio, Hazelnut, Coconut) for mom and Ferrero Mon Cheri for ME!~

A day that was intended to be spent lazing around.. turned out to be a *HEALTHY* workout day for the lazy sisters and their fat doggie~

And off to Bukit Batok Nature Reserve at 10+ am on Sunday morning!~ woohoo~~

wangwang's getting fat and lazy now.. full of energy in the beginning dragging wq up the stairs.. to mi carrying him like a baby down the stairs. A Brit walked past commenting that wang would LOVE to run down the stairs like his GreyHound back home in UK.. only laughing to hear that mi doggie is too tired.. :P



my 'Black Beauty' deserved some pampering too!~ Finally brought him for a carwash!

Happy 42nd Birthday Singapore!~

Feeling so happy for being Singaporean, phiaphia & mi went to get ourselves pampered on National Day. hehee~
Original plan was to get our moles lasered at my auntie's beauty salon.. then we added facial and eyebrows trimming to that.. and on getting there, phiaphia tempted mi to get our eyelashes permed! *"* hehe~

Anyways to do a little publicity here, if u are interested in eyelash perming, can always check mine out as testimonial~ :D

3 months overdue le.. hehee but still pretty fresh~ My first close girlfriend to get married ^^ Known Phyllis since yr 2000, she was our classrep. Being the only NJCian in the class, of cos mi decided to chat up my class rep ma.. so actually she was the first girl in NTU CE Yr 1 class i spoke to~ haha!~

We had a "deal" that the first in the clique to get married will treat everyone to Hawaii.. well.. it din happen. Even though we announced the discounted Bali trip instead during her wedding dinner. :P Just a joke ah.. anyway she's happily married now~ yay~

*Wedding teasers*
Spent the morning preparing the "good food and drinks" for the Brothers of the groom. hehe~ Chilli stuffed with wasabi (looks like yong tau foo, i very pro rite?) Squeezed 10 huge lemons for PURE lemon juice into a milk bottle and the 苦草 into another milk bottle. We're not evil.. we gave them nice SUPER SWEET honey at the end of that. Cos of the lack of time, our only other way to earn ourselves a bigger ang pao was to get them to arrange a 双喜 in nice red SGD$10 notes.. but look wat we got in the end..


Although we sisters got ourselves an extremely discounted angpao.. we still let Vinson in.. cos we wanted to make sure Phyllis got married after all.. *kidding* hehee~ They look so good together! *cry*


Left Phyllis's house for Vinson's house, the Sisters got to relax, look at their wedding shots and stuff ourselves with good food catered by Vin's mom. ;)


Finally they signed their marriage certs.. at Marina Mandarin. Rained very heavily in the evening. Mr photographer being very artistic and we sisters loving to take photos spontaneously helped him try out the beaded glass panel shot~ heee~
Drank some red wine during dinner.. looking a bit dazed.. haha.. but was so happy for Phyllis.. Felt mi tears several times.. aiyo.. how.. still got Feng, Wen and Pei to go.. gonna cry miself silly le...~ hee~

been a while since we last met up ne.. but on fri nite, the people that turned up have all officially "ORD-ed".. left the 鸟不生蛋，狗不拉屎 (learnt this phrase from lln and tkc) place.. still got some of us struggling.. heard from tkc and lkw abt the shifts.. aii.. so poor thing.. :(
so much has happened le.. mi work for 3 yrs liao .. getting old~ but these people are the ones that made mi first job fun~ ^^



Thot ah hua was gonna treat lor cos she announced her getting married next jan~ hehee~ But everyone was starving.. only place with no queue was Jack's Place! *shocking*


All the dinner food!~ Always love Jack's Place baked potato with sour cream, bacon bits and spring onions~ :P~


Time for dessert at MOF!~ mi first time there ne.. wahhh mi macha kakigori (bottom right) was suuuupppperrr swEEEEEEEEt! *fainted* being one with a sweet tooth, i still couldnt bring miself to finish that macha kakigori! can u believe it!! O_O anyways it tasted really nice! green tea and red bean, vanilla icecream that tasted like milk powder! Loved it! its one of the chef's recommendation too!


Despite all the shy people that dun like to take photos.. (only mi skin very thick la.. :P) we still got our group photo!~ yay~

Cos i went to queue today to get Boss's cake! and will be doing it again for another colleague's bday tomorrow!! YAY! *tired...* (... but its worth it cos its CAKE! :P~)
