*~ Pre-bday celebration ~*

Yay! Got to take the car with my niece and took a few video clips of her newly learnt trick! The one where she "drops" something and will go "uh-oh" in a very accurate way where she even shapes her lips nicely when she says the "O". She's sooooo cute!!!

We headed straight to Secret Recipe once we got to IMM and i chose to have my favourite Chocolate Indulgence~ yummy! Being the "local" at IMM since office is just 15 min away.. i had to recommend a good place for lunch.. am still not very good when it comes to making decisions but when the situation requires it.. i still have to do it~

So... i decided on at Crystal Jade @ IMM after much discussion about the possibilities~ hee~

This time we did not have sharks fin but there was chilli crab! :P~ And my favourite Peking Duck!!

*~ The sumptious spread ~*

Shopped around just a little bit cos my poor claire bear was hungry and also needed her diapers changed. :P

We found a new way to make Claire smile when we take photos! I was holding the camera while Claire's mummy was holding Phia's phone which had Claire's photo as the wallpaper and waving it at Claire. Baby Claire is ALWAYS happy to see herself!! heee~

*~ Claire and Phia ~*

Although this photo reveals my age (its no big secret anyway) but I took it so well I had to put it up~ And in case you are wondering, thats my nickname used at home.. So yup.. thats the name apparently a colleague has named one of his cats with a different spelling.. *sob*

*~ my cake! ~*

Cake cutting also gets Baby Claire excited! Or maybe she wanted some practice for her bday celebration the next day! Poor baby started crying when she accidentally got some chocolate onto her hand after cutting the cake and we all went "orh hor!!!"

*~ Dinner @ Ma Maison ~*

Central has become a new favourite location for us Japanese food lovers! The last time we didn't manage to get seats at Ma Maison. This time i remembered to call up to make a booking! And i was told that it was fully booked and that bookings had to be made about a week in advance now.. :( But walk-in was still possible.. hmm~~ So we decided to try our luck! :D

Arriving at Central... got a lift from Chris as he and Michael we heading to City Hall~ Lucky!~

An EVIAN christmas tree at the entrance of Central

*~ Long time no see ~*

met up with some old friends this weekend.

Saturday...
had some choya and red wine by the pool.. chatted abt old times.. chatted about now. Unfortunately why is it even at this age we are still always facing the same problems as we probably would have 10 yrs ago? mm.. anyways hope things work out ;)

Read min's blog to catch up a bit on her life before meeting her for a Sunday brunch at Holland V. Feeling really happy for her to have found her happiness so i went shopping for a pretty gift. Dunno why i have a new found liking for pearls so selected a nice pair (in my opinion) of water pearls from Lee Hwa.

my own sister thought it was ugly! *sob* nice wat.. :P Anyways sincerely wishing Suming a Happy Marriage! :D

*~ Dinner @ Marutama Ramen ~*

Original plan was to have a nice dinner at Ma Maison in Central @ Clarke Quay... but to our surprise it was full-house on a thursday night despite this economic slowdown..

Fortunately, Central is really a place for japanese food lovers! there's sooooo many restaurants with authentic Japanese food and the supermarket and shops and small stalls also selling uniquely Japanese foodstuff! :D~

Ordered a ramen with a spicy chicken soup base..

And some char siew side dish....

plus a pork belly side dish....

all i can say is its really YUMMY!!~ reminds me of what i had back in hokkaido~

to my left at the counter.. a Japanese came in and sat. And just like what a typical Japanese would do (as in the tv series), he put his bag down.. ordered his ramen with a char siew side + a beer. After he finished his first bowl of ramen, he ordered for a 2nd serving, sat there drinking his beer probably thinking about his day at work. After finishing up his 2nd bowl as quickly as the first, he got up, made payments and left. Probably to get home, take a warm shower and get sleep to get ready for another day in office. *mm~ typical*

*~ Family Day Out! ~*

A family day out to the Singapore Flyer, a mongolian buffet lunch and a boat ride down Singapore river! Together with xiaoyi's family, we headed out at about 9am in the morning to join the local tour~ :D

We were actually a little excited to be on the Singapore Flyer for the first time. Currently the tallest of the 3, taller than the one in London and in Vienna. ;)

The total "flight-time" so they call it, is about 30 min. That's quite a bit of time to be taking photos and enjoying the view. No problem even if u are a little afraid of heights! I had no problem~

Headed down next to Park Mall for our Mongolian Teppanyaki buffet lunch at Kublai Khan. So we didn't need to do the cooking, the cooks did!

Got a silly shot of the boys searching for 4-leaf clovers. Sorry I have a thing for 4-leaf clovers. They're so pretty, even those with just 3-leaves! :)

*~ where's the 4-leaf clover?? ~*

After lunch, the coach took us to Clarke Quay where we took a 30 min boat ride down Singapore River. It was a terribly hot day!

*~HelloKitty online!~*

my first mmorpg~ :D

Today was the last day of closed beta so now we have to wait till open beta in dec. Struggled with the quests for a week. Had to play late nights after my long work day. But its also a good switch from working till 12am to playing till 12am right? Can't always be such a workaholic. This is my first move! *also an excuse!*

Managed to rush to popurrucho-chan's farm in time to get a group shot with some of us from the guild. Photo was taken in the last min just before getting disconnected from the server. Couldn't even place myself properly to have my nick seen. :P

Liliko's the one right at the bottom

*~ Kelvin's wedding ~*

Woke up early on 8th of November, getting excited over my cousin's Big Day! I offered to help him out if he needed any and became his Emcee for the night. Oh, some new facts i learnt, Emcee actually comes from MC which stands for Master of Ceremonies. I'm not so professional though and didn't have a partner. Was a little strange to speak in English followed by Mandarin.. and reading from a script somehow always makes me stumble. But formalities cannot be forgotten so the script stayed :)

Phiaphia recommended her friend to help us with make up for the night. So we went to BeBe's house after going over to Kelvin's house in the afternoon to discuss some details. mmm BeBe's house is really nice! Love the open kitchen concept and a nice yard.

She's such a nice lady, loves making people look pretty! Highly recommended as her charges are extremely reasonable (but she's expecting now so may have to sit back and relax for a while after this month)

Me after transformation!~ :D

And here we celebrate the union of 2 very special people...~

Congrats to my cousin who has found the one whom he will spend the rest of his life with. Wishing them happiness! *Cheers!*
