Everytime I go to Marina Square and attempt to eat at Dian Xiao Er, I will find a super long queue outside.. feel too hungry to wait and head off somewhere else.
Finally my chance came, on this unplanned saturday evening, there was no need for 2 to wait and we were given a place immediately.
The roasted duck was really good with some special 10 herbal stuff.. and the fish was fresh. (Makes me feel hungry now lookin at these photos :P)
The last dish was dessert - Hashima. The red "bit" is half a piece of red date, it made the photo look prettier. ;)

Hasma (or Harsmar, Hashima) is a Chinese dessert ingredient made from the dried fallopian tubes of the Asiatic Grass Frog ('Oviductus Ranae'). Hasma is often mistakenly described as toad or frog fat, since it is sometimes referred to as "toad oil" (Chinese: 蛤蟆油; pinyin: há mǎ yóu).
Hmm.. 4 dishes taken from a special healthy set meal for 2 for about $60 when the bill came.
Unfortunately I had a terrible headache to enjoy the food properly. Thank you for rushing off to get me some panadol.. i really appreciated it even though i tried to be stubborn and thought I wouldn't need it. :P

A book strongly recommended by feng in 08 which i never got to reading.
Finally saw it on screen tonight and weeped at the end... i cannot imagine how it will be when wangwang grows old :(
Hmm gotta say the movie is really touching.. ah.. can't even describe it.. love Jennifer Aniston too! Next will be to get my hands on a copy of the book! :)
