just went to KL for a supposedly relaxing trip over the weekend of 20th but coming back to singapore and having a serious lack of sleep week... less than 6 hrs a day.. i'm waitin to see if my body will break down at some point now. haha~ taking multivits and chicken essence daily for a change. maybe it will help?
delivery of 2 projects concurrently is really hectic. Although i was already aware of it and been trying to space out the development of both but somehow they keep clashing with each other cos of issues sprouting out all over. hmm determined never to become an SI~ :P

lookin forward to my next break.. when will that be?

Day 1 @ KLCC

A short 3D2N getaway to KL a week after CNY to relax, indulge in some good food.. shopping~~

After a bit of walking and window shopping we finally settled for an atas dinner at this persian restaurant~

Day 2 @ Bukit Bintang

Day 2 was again a shopping and eating day (wat else to do at KL? :P)

Took a cab down to Berjaya Times Square to try Uncle Duck - recommended by William~

was feeling excited to see an indoor roller coaster~ convinced dearie to take it with me but to my disappointment it was not in service ma ;(

walked down further in a little drizzle to dearie's favourite shopping mall in KL~

After a long day of walking we went to Liang xin for a good foot and body massage after reading some good reviews about it online~ Just opposite Federal Hotel along bukit bintang. It was too good! By far the best massage i've had~ the masseuse skillful and professional!

Cabbed back to the hotel and had a good sleep that nite :)

Day 3 @ Kajang

Day 3 was a short one.. met up Edmund and his family to go for some super good satay at Kajang.

After the sumptuous lunch, ed sent us back to the hotel~ killing time cos it was raining a bit we sat in the lobby playing with new clippies from Ed's wife. Hand made clippies~ (iheartclippies)

Great trip~ nice and relaxed~ though i wun really agree KL is such a shopping paradise.. :P

Although v-day dinners are overly pricey.. we still celebrated it anyways heee~ cos its our first! :D~ 2 days before the actual v-day which coincided with CNY~

SUPER GOOD! with an interesting egg thing in the middle.. seems to be done with cheese??

a sinful one... knowing how much oil goes into it~ but mm~ tasty! more than enough for 2 though~

Mains~

looked a little bloody.. even in the dim lighting.. but tasted a little tough.. *disappointment*

we had a long wait for this one.. (think they forgot abt our order) but all good things are worth the wait yah? This was the BEST dish for the nite~ i'm not a big fan of lamb cos of the strong taste but this one was ok for me *highly recommended*

Dessert!

we were too full by then but definitely had to have something recommended from the menu right?

this was a teh tarik flavoured pudding.. iiinnnnttteeerreesstiiingg.. mm... that's all i can say~

if we go to halia restaurant again, its cos of the truffle mushrooms and the lamb~ :P~

A gift that was effort of him, his mom whom helped with the packaging~ and his bro whom queued the 2 hours to collect these babies from the seller~

Had help from andrew who sent me a million links to a billion watches.. had a tough time choosing esp'ly when this is not my specialty.. my idea of "pretty" might not be his.. my only hint was *orange* hee~ saw this unique one and was affirmed by andrew when he said it's probably the first in SG~ :P~

came by F.I.S.H while shopping at Tampines One on saturday.. cannot make it.. shopped for abt an hr and we were so starved already (was only 4.30pm..) so we did dinner!

always forget the names of the food but u will know when u see them~ anyway its definitely thumbs up! i think the food might even be better than fish&co itself?? :P
