"Technical Specifications" of The Ring That Rules Them All .. by the Groom
After researching online for sleepless nights on the Ultimate Proposal Ring, I chanced upon the most unlikely forum that offered me the right recommendation - HardwareZone!
There are 600+ pages worth of useful information in the Prosposal Ring thread (http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/wedding-bells-164/proposal-ring-1434486.html ), and JannPaul Diamonds were highly recommended by most HWZ forumers. Being a geek myself, HWZ became the ideal place for me to research on the Ring's technical specifications to compare with those "branded" ones in the market. And thus began my journey for the Perfect Ring and my education on diamonds with Casey, a very friendly and helpful staff from JannPaul :P
Finally the Ring with the Perfect Hearts & Arrows Diamond was found and here are its technical specifications :)

08.10.2011 - The Proposal - Her side of the story
Eugene is not the romantic type so all this while i knew he was already working on getting me my ring.
His 2 hour lesson on diamonds with Casey from JannPaul, his tough choice between JannPaul and Meyson. I figured it was gonna take a long long time so after a while i forgot about it~ I knew it would come but i just didn't know when...
How the conversation started? Can't remember... but i must have said something about "ring" and then suddenly eugene got up and dragged his bag over.. both of us in sleeping clothes.. my younger sis in the room chatting too.. it was already 3am in the morning of 8th Oct. I think i said (i could have been thinking that.. getting up into an upright position..) "don't tell me you've got it with you!!"
Next thing i know is Eugene pulled out a black little box, i think he was on his knees (which later i did confirm with him if he was, and yup, he was) and my heart did thump A LITTLE.. i was really surprised that he just had it with him right?? But i was so tired.. its pretty weird to have it so impromptu...
Well anyway he popped the question, finally.. which we all knew i would have said "Yes". I think i gave a nod and a grin cos it was so pretty. It didn't glitter in the total darkness as Eugene had hoped; yup he turned off the lights. We had to turn the lights back on to see the little stone, his creation, glitter in the dim light. Nice~ he even added side diamonds cos i had once told him the usual proposal rings look a little plain.. (more pricey of cos.. sorry dearie.. )
09.24.2011 - Meet The Parents
Finally it was time to have a formal meet the parents session so we booked a nice ala carte buffet dinner at The Paramount restaurant.
The place has always been a favourite of Eugene's dad and you can probably see why from the glorious food pics below~
There wasn't much to discuss as both parents were super easy going.. in the end it was more like a "lets just sit down and enjoy some food together" session... :P
My first physiotherapy session @ KTPH
*~ Bintan ~* (16th ~ 17th July 2011)
Getting ready for a short weekend getaway to Bintan!
Feeling pretty excited cos i havent been to a beach resort for some time now.. (discounting batam since we didn't get to enjoy the beach at all)
Walked around a bit.. didn't do anything exciting... and soon we headed downstairs for our dinner, inclusive in the getaway package...
Next morning, rise and shine! Time for some serious beach fun!!
Of course not being very great swimmers, we put on our safety gear... :P
big mable... looked nice and comfy.. but it was amazing how much pain i remember having while sliding from side to side as we sped thru the waters... hmm...
flying fish.. also as the name says it.. we are supposed to get lifted into the air and slap down onto the waters again and again....
