Getting ready for a short weekend getaway to Bintan!
Feeling pretty excited cos i havent been to a beach resort for some time now.. (discounting batam since we didn't get to enjoy the beach at all)

*~ our first sumptious lunch.. must have cost ard sgd $50?? ~*

Walked around a bit.. didn't do anything exciting... and soon we headed downstairs for our dinner, inclusive in the getaway package...

Next morning, rise and shine! Time for some serious beach fun!!
Of course not being very great swimmers, we put on our safety gear... :P

We picked a package of 4 activities - banana boat, U-slalom, big mable, and flying fish..
and of course, a banana boat just looks like a banana! the idea was to make sharp turns and have us fall into the sea.. and that we did just as we were expected to...

the u-slalom is a real test of your strength... how well u can keep HANGING there....

big mable... looked nice and comfy.. but it was amazing how much pain i remember having while sliding from side to side as we sped thru the waters... hmm...

flying fish.. also as the name says it.. we are supposed to get lifted into the air and slap down onto the waters again and again....

But it was all good fun, really ;) im glad we tried it! too bad daniel couldn't join us cos he didn't have suitable eyewear..
