Europe! we''re on our way!

finally... our long awaited honeymoon... been really physically and mentally exhausted from wedding preps to the actual wedding.. work... and most annoying of all the bedbugs and back aches that keep me up at night. i've been looking forward to this holiday! :) and now we are here waiting patiently to board the plane.

lets see how easily available wifi will be in europe :)

Gardens by the Bay!~

With our Passion cards, we just had to pay a subsidised rate - $15 for a 6 course chinese dinner + a trip to gardens by the bay inclusive of entrance to the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest!

*~ on the bus on our way! ~*

We headed first to the Flower Dome, by then it was about 6pm... Its really nice, you will smell the flowers right at the entrance...~

just me being silly.. wondering how i will look with a huge flower hair piece :)

sky started to get dark by 6.45pm.. quickly trying to get a shot with all the pretty blooming flowers~

more flowers at the Flower Dome

headed to the Cloud Forest next as it was already almost dark by then... Be sure to go all the way up to level 7.. on the way down there are different things to see.. they also have some crystal features on display. Its really pretty nice for a walk but could get a bit cold so u might wanna prep a light jacket.. :)

greeted by a cool manmade waterfall.. it was cold and slightly wet.. :P

Finally.. one of the 18 supertrees...

Read somewhere that there were 36 solar powered super trees planned but in the end only 18 were constructed.. not really sure why though... one of them actually houses IndoChine! Would be cool to have a drink up there when I get a chance.. maybe next time? :)

Once upon a Rosti

Hidden away in a corner of 8 Shenton Way (previously Temasek Towers)..
If you've heard of or seen Once upon a Milkshake, you might realise they are the same company! :D
Had wanted to give it a try so went there on 8 Oct evening after my hair cut..

found myself a cozy seat at the corner of the cafe....

my order.. got a double rosti cos a single simply looked too small, and it was just a dollar more..~

all day breakfast, if you like ham, sausages and eggs!

here's what the rosti below the eggs look like...

Verdict? Hmm kinda disappointed.. the service was bad.. the waiter was really not interested in serving me.. maybe cos i came in at 8pm and he was hoping to go home earlier? I asked for recommendations and the answer i got was "we specialise in rosti" -_-" i was like .....seriously???

taste wise.. it was too salty for my liking... salted rosti and unevenly salted eggy.. the eggy was horrible.. big disappointment cos i love eggs and i can't understand how anyone can mess it up so bad..  :(

Anyway i probably won't give it a 2nd try unless someone desperately wanted try it and needed company..  Sorry.. this is the first time i had to give a bad bad rating to any food.. *sigh*

Here's the website, it actually looks really appetizing so maybe i was just unlucky?

my Korean haircut @ SOZO!~ ♥

been wanting to get  korean style shoulder length hair with light curls~

by chance mom forwarded me a BigDeal.sg email to get her a ukulele and I spotted a deal from SOZO beauty and hair salon.
$38 for a korean lavender hair treatment, wash, cut and blow.. seemed an ok price to give it a try :)

so.... from this boring long flat super under maintained permed hair....

was very happy to be served by a very sweet Korean hairstylist Vicky ~ ♥

enjoyed the great smelling lavender hair treatment for 10 min after my hair wash.
Vicky also gave me a shoulder massage.. tyty!  ahh really sweet lady.. we had alot of small talk.. hehe made me very comfy to tell her all my silly woes :P

after another 40 min of very thoughtful snipping and blow drying especially with the fringe which I have given up on for years... Vicky also told me maybe the hair I wanted would not really be suitable hence... we went for this~

haven't got a very good photo yet.. plus my stubborn parting needs some hard work to rid. at least my hair looks kinda neat now? :) and I have fringe!!

hurray! will probably drop by again when I need another change of hairstyle~

SOZO is located at Chevron House (Raffles Place) #01-30.
