*~ Family Day Out! ~*

A family day out to the Singapore Flyer, a mongolian buffet lunch and a boat ride down Singapore river! Together with xiaoyi's family, we headed out at about 9am in the morning to join the local tour~ :D

We were actually a little excited to be on the Singapore Flyer for the first time. Currently the tallest of the 3, taller than the one in London and in Vienna. ;)

The total "flight-time" so they call it, is about 30 min. That's quite a bit of time to be taking photos and enjoying the view. No problem even if u are a little afraid of heights! I had no problem~

*~ hello there! ~*

*~ that's where the IR will be ~*

We got a little carried away taking photos of our feet and our hands! Finally we came up with a good one! We made a STAR!

Headed down next to Park Mall for our Mongolian Teppanyaki buffet lunch at Kublai Khan. So we didn't need to do the cooking, the cooks did!

Got a silly shot of the boys searching for 4-leaf clovers. Sorry I have a thing for 4-leaf clovers. They're so pretty, even those with just 3-leaves! :)

*~ where's the 4-leaf clover?? ~*

After lunch, the coach took us to Clarke Quay where we took a 30 min boat ride down Singapore River. It was a terribly hot day!

This is really a post to show how beautiful Singapore is and how i love being a tourist even in my own country~ Also just to show of my photo taking skills with my faithful automatic Samsung NV3! :)

*~HelloKitty online!~*

my first mmorpg~ :D

Today was the last day of closed beta so now we have to wait till open beta in dec. Struggled with the quests for a week. Had to play late nights after my long work day. But its also a good switch from working till 12am to playing till 12am right? Can't always be such a workaholic. This is my first move! *also an excuse!*

Managed to rush to popurrucho-chan's farm in time to get a group shot with some of us from the guild. Photo was taken in the last min just before getting disconnected from the server. Couldn't even place myself properly to have my nick seen. :P

Liliko's the one right at the bottom

See u guys at open beta!

*~ Kelvin's wedding ~*

Woke up early on 8th of November, getting excited over my cousin's Big Day! I offered to help him out if he needed any and became his Emcee for the night. Oh, some new facts i learnt, Emcee actually comes from MC which stands for Master of Ceremonies. I'm not so professional though and didn't have a partner. Was a little strange to speak in English followed by Mandarin.. and reading from a script somehow always makes me stumble. But formalities cannot be forgotten so the script stayed :)

Phiaphia recommended her friend to help us with make up for the night. So we went to BeBe's house after going over to Kelvin's house in the afternoon to discuss some details. mmm BeBe's house is really nice! Love the open kitchen concept and a nice yard.

She's such a nice lady, loves making people look pretty! Highly recommended as her charges are extremely reasonable (but she's expecting now so may have to sit back and relax for a while after this month)

Me after transformation!~ :D

And here we celebrate the union of 2 very special people...~

Congrats to my cousin who has found the one whom he will spend the rest of his life with. Wishing them happiness! *Cheers!*

*~ Dinner @ Magaritas, Dempsey Hill ~*

A very belated bday dinner for chris cos we had all been so busy with work :P Maybe a bad excuse but we really wanted to make up for it~

To Dempsey Hill we went!~

*~ Magaritas ~*

Magaritas.. famous obviously by the name for its magaritas but none of us were up to it for drinks maybe except for ani. Rest of us had juices. hee~ and one magarita for taste. :) I've also taken a liking for mexican food after going to chachacha once except this was a little more costly but for the ambience it was ok i guess. The owner was nice and came to give us some really good recommendations~

*~ pretty? these are just juice ;) ~*

*~ mexican food! ~*

*~ dessert ~*

*~ zana, me, michelle, ani and sitting down: chris!~*

mm.. total bill was a little shocking.. was about $300? so if u're feeling rich and craving for real good magarita with mexican food, this place is not bad ;)

*~Happy Birthday to Mummy!~*

I love birthdays cos we will not leave out the goooood foooood! :D
Like last year, we made a booking at Jumbo Seafood for mummy's bday~ except this time we went to Dempsey Hill~

Got caught in a heavy rain on the way there after picking up mummy from her friend's house for a Hari Raya lunch. Although we parked about 15m from the entrance of the restaurant, I still got drenched ferrying parents from the car to the restaurant. But it was all worth the effort when we joined Bing and her hubby and Baby Claire, and PhiaPhia in the VIP room!

The VIP room looks really good except there was a nice LCD TV but no karaoke~ :P and we also caught a very old but interesting Mediacorp tv serial starring Fann Wong and Hong Rong and Li Nanxing.. hmm strange that i don't remember ever seeing it before..

Baby Claire practising blowing out candles in the bottom left photo (of course not *hee*) Isn't she just too cute???

Our amazing food! Hmm i know some people will really be upset with me, but the sharks' fin was really good.. *sorry!* And chilli crab is a must must!! everything else was just mmmmm~~~~

Photos of us! We were even given aprons to eat the crabs~ And the waitress was really professional when she found that something was wrong with the cake given by the restaurant. The manager came to apologize and bought us another from CA (Changing Appetites?) opposite of Jumbo, which tasted reeeeeeaaaallllyyyy good!

Mummy got a titus watch too! Hmm i'm a titus fan!~ Also bought a facial and massage session for mummy and me to go enjoy after product release in November! Yay!~

The friendly staff were amazing! The manager asked one of the guys to escort us to the car with the giant shade~ :) Thank you!

*~weekend is over again...~*

Saturday~
Had my last A-Math class with my students before their final exams this week. hmm.. one more lesson to go and my sec 4s will be done with their O's.

Went to attend some make up class with mom and ended up signing a facial and massage session for Mom & me :P

After dinner and watching some OP online, went to do some quick shopping with phia at westmall. hee~
Came back and finished watching OP ep 374... :D now i needa wait... eeeek...
Sunday~
Went to get mom's present and rushed home..

the day didnt start off so well cos bing came over without the house keys and lost her temper at us.. *tolerated*

Had a super good lunch and Jumbo @ Dempsey Hill this afternoon (despite the heavy rain which drenched me almost totally by walking from the car to the restaurant twice to ferry my parents..) to celebrate mom's bday! Yay! Chilli Crab & Sharks' Fin Soup! *waitin eagerly for the photos*

guess the good mood didn't hold up.. by the end of the day i was feeling so terrible. :(

Made up by watching Iron Man which was pretty good and i love gwyneth paltrow. :)

Lent my muvo to wq so finally charged my green mickey mp3 player ~

4gb of storage but i'm sick of my music.. hmm.. so it remains pretty empty for now. Maybe i should put in some Japanese and German conversational clips in it. :P

*~ Chillin @ Sentosa ~*

Sentosa has been undergoing some big facelift compared to how i remembered it when i was young. Well, not that young, at least till i was still in Uni which is just 4 yrs ago. I'd loved the monorail that takes u around the island where the tracks go between the tree tops and you can look down at the attractions or people. Plus, that was free!

Another free attraction which i'm sure most of us loved was the Musical Fountain, now replaced with Songs of the Sea. Musical Fountain was simple, just water displays and lights and music. But it was still pretty, and something to look forward to at the end of a fun day with the family. Songs of the Sea was good nevertheless, for just $8 per person ($6 for Islanders) with much more technology added to it.

Hmm so recently i was asked what's there to do at Sentosa? umm.. for me, its just chillin at the beach, drinking maybe? We have expensive imported sand!

and the sunset is still pretty~

Songs of the Sea is worth at least 1 watch. mmm.. maybe Cycling? There's also the luge ride, which isn't too thrilling but its something. I've already gone up the old Calsberg Tower now known as Tiger Sky Tower which revolves 360 degrees so u can look over the whole island and also parts of Singapore. There's also Dragon Trail which is actually a short hike through the rainforest if u just want a walk in some foresty areas, but it isn't too much. If you're willing to pay MORE, there's also the Pink Dolphin lagoon (which i haven't seen), and the Underwater World. Lastly, there's definitely alot to eat~ ;)

*~ Childrens' Day @ ECP ~*

Finally a nice public holiday - Hari Raya Puasa- which happened to coincide with Childrens' Day. Wanted to do something I had not done for a long time and asked feng to organise a gathering to ECP. ;) This girlie was so blur she confirmed with some people but not all (including me!) until i woke up on my holiday wondering if the date was still on!

Drove down to ECP where there was a long line of cars queuing from the expressway exit along the small road which takes u to the carparks. Spent a 20 min or so finding some expensive carpark finally. Met the gang for lunch at a small Japanese restaurant which also had Korean food.

my salmon sashimi don

feng & me

Since my wrist operation i had not dared to do anything too intensive but i really wanted to bowl. ;)
I usually use a '9' or '10' (in the past) but this time i could only manage a '6', but the score isn't too bad? hee~

1st game: 72

At least there was also an improvement in the 2nd game despite that my wrist was not really in its best form.

2nd game: 88

The girls~

We stopped by coffee beans to get some drinks, found a nice bench by the beach and sat there a while to chat and talk crap. Susan also brought a nice box of lollys which requires > 30 min to finish. I think i took an hour?

the super hard lollipops

Finally a group shot!

I love holidays! Already looking forward to after release and the trip to HongKong over christmas~ mmm~~
