A belated lunch treat for Dhana's bday~ Ed & I decided to give her a treat for her hard work and support~ :) Mostly it was to enjoy our atas lifestyle too as presales & support~ After some support work at a customer site, we went to White Dog Cafe at Vivocity for lunch~

mains were just ok, i think dinners are better.. Appetisers were great though! Especially the button mushrooms :)

Everyone loves eating and William's last day was just another "excuse" for some good food! Thanks to GK for organising, we settled for Dian Xiao Er.
Quite a good place for chinese food~ Think the bill amounted to around $107 for 4 of us..

Looks like this feature still has a number of limitations like:

But this will serve its purpose till I find a better alternative ;)

Delivering a world of good taste~

A family trip to Changi Airport to pick up dad after his 1 week trip with grandma to China and his hometown in Fujian province. We decided to meet earlier to do lunch and for claire to walk around a bit~

decided on lunch at the Hong Kong Cafe @ T3. cos it was april so bing got a discount card which gave us some immediate perks at lunch.. (can't remember what though)

While waiting for dad to arrive from china, we took Claire on her
first skytrain ride to T3..

As usual I like to take snaps of my favourite model her ;)

finally bought my iphone 3GS... 16 GB.. with the cheapest starhub phone plan.. after a $100 discount, i paid $438 for the phone.. got an expensive screen protector (imported from japan) @ epicenter for $39..
still missing a nice hard protective cover and an iphone skin...

was feeling happy till i realised my contacts backup with my old LG Viewty messed up.. now i have 0 contacts in my phone.. argh..
stupid me.. wanted to trade in my worthless viewty.. valued at a mere $40.. then discounted $10 cos of the scratches.. and another $5 for the missing micro SD card that came with the phone.. for $25 i deleted all my contacts and gave the phone to the lady.. only then i realised the sim card was empty!! ARGH.. dunno if its a good or bad thing..

and sadly Arigoo does warrant me for a corporate phone plan discount.. >_<

A simple bday celebration for wc at Marche @ 313 somerset~ Also a gathering for some 10 of us after a day of work at our distributed companies now.. nice to catch up nevertheless~ getting updates like vijapur is getting married~

was too busy gossiping to take photos.. haha!~ mm but prefer the marche at vivo.. feels a little more spacious~

we're always hunting for good and affordable food places~ Mom spotted a promotion in the papers at Fisherman's Wharf~ The dishes dun look too fantastic but taste was pretty good and portions were big!

After looking through the photos again, i decided the cook is experimenting with some new ideas on us :P~

Usually we dun see such appetisers served at a full 8~10 course chinese set dinner.. but tasted really good the fried salmon skin~

Another not very pretty dish.. never seen them in egg-y sauce before. Interesting combination and was ok for us cos we LOVE egg!

As singaporeans, chilli crab is a basic~ Perfect!

Interesting one.. they put yam ice cream instead of coconut milk. Tasted good actually and probably a little healthier~

I can't remember how much the meal costs.. but im sure it was less than $250. Not bad right? we had 7 adults and 1 little girl~ :D

Caught Alice in Wonderland in non-3D because of a careless mistake in timing heee~.. but to our relieve the 3D version wasn't too spectacular anyway~ :)

After the movie.. we stopped by at a coffeeshop near home for dinner.. thought to try smth interesting though not famous...

Wasn't too fantastic.. mm but was interesting still.. very plain so it at least tasted healthy ;)
the kway tiao made me miss xiaofu's steamboat.. :P~

Super good bbq wagyu beef~ a little costly but very worth it! And the best part is u dun smell of bbq after dinner! :D

The food was really good! What i really miss is the Horenso Salad.. unfortunately no photo was taken cos the waiter kindly mixed the sauce in and divided the portions.. while i irresistably gobbled it up!
