;D today is the start of a series of meet ups with friends to celebrate me getting older!~ mingchong and ander (buddies from NJ table tennis.. ^^ ) cool ba.. we've known each other for 7 yrs le oh! and zhongyi (my da ge) also very "sincerely" called me to wish mi an early happy birthday before he got drunk at zouk -_-"" (that reminds me, jem wished me happy birthday on the 29th.. so i guess that counts as the first :P ) oh oh.. thats my first kaminabe (paper steamboat) in the front.. it really didn't burn ne... WHY!! ;P  

waahh.. dunno wats gotten into me.. mabbe tired from work ba.. brain-wrecking work for over 12hrs for 3 consecutive days is no joke.. -_-"
i was staring at the expiry date on this discount coupon which said 31st Dec 2005.. and i was all "shucks.. it was only valid till last yr?!" eh..
earlier took a cab home.. and everytime the cabby asked something, i answered something else.. he had to ask twice.. and i forgot to give directions.. phew he asked first before making the turn..

last nite i had a dream abt OTing..
i remembered freakin out abt the how late it was and everyone was still busy workin.. till abt 11pm.. finally i decided, i needa sleep! so despite being afraid of supernatural thingies.. eh.. i left? and then i was walkin in north spine (ntu) and decided to try going be south spine to the guard house (dso).. but the route was longer, so by the time i got to the cab, the driver was darn angry.. *humph*
strange?? no idea..
layna thinks im just stressed by all the OT, and by NTU.. :P (and i think by calling cabs too cos they always arrive so early!!)

feng's gonna become my personal image consultant, so that i can have a new wardrobe by the end of 2005.. converting travelling expenses to shopping expenses.. heh..
poor girl, i always ask her to go shopping, but end up saying "sian.. dun feel like lookin and trying on stuff.. lets just sit and drink coffee"

the silliest thing made me the happiest this afternoon..
finally decided to listen to Angela's Aurora album cos i didnt like it when i first heard it..
dunno what made mi decide to click on track 12.. and.....
it was the theme song from 大长今!!! waahh~ u cannot imagine how happy and excited that made me.. i love hearing the song.. makes me feel NICE... peaceful? happy? can't really describe it.. altho the lyrics are weird.. cos its supposed to be a korean song.. but still.. i just like the tune!
layna has decided to irritate me by putting Angela as no.2 on her "singers that get on her nerve list", right after ayumi.. bleh.. meanie.. ;P~
both she and gg seem to think angela looks like an anime-type alien.. like that 'shui-ling-long' from the "赤子成龙" show.. argh.. and so they decided i've got strange taste in girls.. hey hey.... -_-"
we've all be very bogged down by work.. but lunch breaks are always good.. and crappy.. :) enjoyable.. makes the OT-ing alot more bearable.. haha ^^
i was wondering abt the 冬虫夏草(Cordyceps).. so is it a worm in winter and turns into fungus in summer??

just now mom came and told me she accidentally deleted all the photos on the digicam.. think it upsetted her all day cos everyone said it couldnt be fixed..
heh.. well.. there's actually free softwares to do file recovery.. i use PC Inspector smart recovery.. hee.. a program my "nickname-stealer" told me to use that time i accidentally deleted mom's photos.. (shh.. she doesn't know..)
so.. anyways, i saved her photos.. again! so THERE!~

mm~ finally finished watchin 大长今。。。。
nice ^^ meaningful show.. alot of ups and downs, lots of heart wrenching and heart warming happenings.. it might sound silly but this show managed to bring me out of my all-time low.. :)
finally can 看开了~ i strongly recommend this show if u've got some time to spare.. 44 discs, 1hr 9min each, is a real lot!

but weekend passed a little too quickly this time~ all i did was watch vcd and eat.. hehe.. but also did a bit of thinking and wanted to make sure i have no regrets.. 3 days and i couldn't sit and hope anymore so i msged a friend.. i felt the need to apologize for something i said which i didn't mean. i hope the friend did not misunderstand me again.. cos of that fear, i requested to not have a reply.. no reply somehow feels better than a bad one..
it happens, when people get too emotional, they make serious mistakes that brings them loss.. but its no excuse~ and i've lost something too important to not learn by now....
and how silly can a person become, to say something hurtful which doesn't only hurt the other party but him/herself..

i went with xiaodi to catch 2 animations yesterday at the Singapore History Museum.. umm.. honestly... i thought both storylines were a little weird.. heh.. :P
but we met Ai'er, another jc classmate who has disappeared on us ever since we entered Uni.. ! didn't even get a chance to catch up a bit, that girl just vanished when the show ended.. bleh~ :P~

but.. no mood.. no drive.. didn't feel like putting up pics.. finally uploaded them to yahoo album.. realised that the previous was out of space.. so got a new one..

last nite was a rainy nite..
went for auditions with feng.. wen, susan and major and feng's 2 friends came to support us ne.. thanks, you guys..~
but i messed up, sang halfway and i felt an overwhelming need to cry.. mabbe i sang with too much emotions ba.. heh.. not very upset though.. expected to mess up alredi.. but didnt sing too bad actually.. felt kinda nice cos the people at other tables were payin attention too ne.. :)

perhaps i didn't manage to sleep well last nite, woke up feeling really terrible this morning.. and took an mc... ended up watching 大长今. throat feels bad and still wanna eat all the fried food and chocolates ne..

feel so silly ne.. sigh~ should slap miself awake..~

had high tea at goodwood with min, chan, qing, and cheryl this afternoon.. im glad we do this catching up once in a while. then i thought abt mr charlie brink.. kinda miss him~ i hope things are good on his side with his family :)

i think i finally had a good talk with that friend i've been arguing with, on friday.. i got to grumble quite a bit (although he's not very good at comforting when it comes to work stress.. ) .. and got to giggle a bit.. and after that i could laugh again.. its like things are back to normal again~ feel a huge sense of relief after that.. its been quite a while.. so, thank you.. it meant alot, really..

hmm.. i must officially give yujie gor gor some credit for being mi "tour guide".. geez.. im singaporean and i have so much trouble getting to places these days..

so.. now i can post since we made it thru the first round.. hehee thought it might be disappointing if we didnt get thru..~
feng and i went to muchuan for audition on wednesday nite.. 1st round is karaoke disc round.. hehee~
funny.. cos i forgot where apollo centre was.. and yee ket was tellin mi abt it blah blah blah and i suddenly recalled a friend from hall who used to sing at music cafes..
and guess what! when i got to apollo centre i realised i had been to muchuan before la! -_-"
and when we went in, i saw my ex-hallmate Leon, who apparently was the one liasing with feng thru email~ geez.. small world.. and i'm very very forgetful..
but it felt kinda awkward.. i got stressed.. like what if he thought i havent improved.. and became more strict in judging..?
we made it anyways and the nxt round is good stuff! Get to sing with the live band!
huh.. gotta think of 3 to 4 songs by sunday so the band can prepare..
its a real consolation to get to the 2nd round alredi actually.. just hope to have fun now! :D

back's been hurtin again.. friends keep tellin me to go see a doctor... and up to date, i've seen 2 chinese physicians and 1 private doctor, one at the polyclinic and one specialist at gleneagles..
i've finally decided to be stubborn and take things in my own hands. -_-"
thought going back to working out abit should relax those back muscles but its not working..
still gotta increase the exercise, workin on building up mi stamina to go back to singing again.. heh ;D

waitin for harry potter and the globlet of fire to show.. although i made feng and david promise to take me along, but managed to get wen to go with in the end.. hehe much better than being a lightbulb oh!

feng told me to leave my prob on the blog.. and really leave it here.. mabbe revisit when i feel better again... i never tried that.. i agree with her that the girl, Ye Tian Yu~ in 王子变青蛙 is really cool.. and i'm working hard on that.. becoming as brave.. :) and of cos, the guy's very good looking! hehe :D

been having rough times with a friend.. seems like everytime we talk, we end up arguing.. no idea what's been going wrong but the misunderstandings seem to keep adding up no matter how much we try to fix it..
i've been thinking that i needa walk alone for a while.. but i'm so afraid of what i would lose..
ru guo de shi is a beautiful song.. i feel happy everytime i hear it.. i've got it looping on my playlist with a few other songs at work.. harmony is one of the things i listen to most.. got a thing for it..
wo de zhui ai is my current favourite.. sang it for the first time at KTV with feng and wen.. feng helped me recorded it.. heh.. never looked into the lyrics before until now and realised it kinda describes how im feeling right now.. yup~

so.. i was late for karaoke after going to the gym in the morning.. good way to start afresh!

this is what me and major ordered at coffee club.. make a guess, which is strawberry tea and which is peach? we had to ask the waiter again just to be sure..

so... figured it out? Lesson: don't judge tea by its color... pink one is peach tea!!

yay.. completed no.1 on the list this morning.. went to the gym.. and jogged 2km.. did some weights and sit-ups.. bleh.. 2km very little.. but my back REALLY hurts.. still quite proud i managed.. ermm.. slow speed though.. 7min/km.. i used to do abt 5 to 6min/km..
*ouch* gotta work out the back and leg muscles.. kinda figured which set it is thats having problems..

nxt on the list, KARAOKE!! heh.. im gonna be late..~ :P

heh.. finally met suming on deepavali..~
was having a terrible day before meeting her ne.. but its gonna be the last time whatever happened happens....
umm.. Villa Bali is a really nice place ne.. enjoyed sitting there like that..
we shared a bottle of ice wine.. heh (yay, i learnt from minmin that ice wine is made from frozen grapes) nice ne.. sweet stuff~

haven't caught up like that in a while.. really nice.. gotta go chill out again some time..

oh and it was halloween night! heh.. TCC did up the place with cobwebs, greenish lights, skeletons etc etc, and painted their faces.. played strange music trying to sound eerie.. but i did get a shock when i came out from the restroom to see a guy standing very still in the corner.. WAAHH! he shocked me! meanie!~
and i gotta admit that writing on the mirror "i'm waiting for you in hell" did make me a little jumpy too..

mood's been so bad.. almost broke down at work today.. geez..
dunno why, everything's adding up.. but i'll pull thru stronger this time..
and there's alot to do.. gonna finally sign up for those auditions tmr morning when i feel less sick..
