Sentosa has been undergoing some big facelift compared to how i remembered it when i was young. Well, not that young, at least till i was still in Uni which is just 4 yrs ago. I'd loved the monorail that takes u around the island where the tracks go between the tree tops and you can look down at the attractions or people. Plus, that was free!
Another free attraction which i'm sure most of us loved was the Musical Fountain, now replaced with Songs of the Sea. Musical Fountain was simple, just water displays and lights and music. But it was still pretty, and something to look forward to at the end of a fun day with the family. Songs of the Sea was good nevertheless, for just $8 per person ($6 for Islanders) with much more technology added to it.
Hmm so recently i was asked what's there to do at Sentosa? umm.. for me, its just chillin at the beach, drinking maybe? We have expensive imported sand!
and the sunset is still pretty~
Songs of the Sea is worth at least 1 watch. mmm.. maybe Cycling? There's also the luge ride, which isn't too thrilling but its something. I've already gone up the old Calsberg Tower now known as Tiger Sky Tower which revolves 360 degrees so u can look over the whole island and also parts of Singapore. There's also Dragon Trail which is actually a short hike through the rainforest if u just want a walk in some foresty areas, but it isn't too much. If you're willing to pay MORE, there's also the Pink Dolphin lagoon (which i haven't seen), and the Underwater World. Lastly, there's definitely alot to eat~ ;)
