tian tian vs ah-tai (天天vs阿仔)
bye bye blisters!
Recently I seem to be recommending this to alot of girl friends so I thought i might as well blog it down in case anyone out there is also looking for a product that might help :)
Actually thanks to phia phia for sharing this with me several years back cos im so super prone to getting blisters.. :P
You can easily find this at Guardian or Watsons! I remember it being less than $15...
Very handy.. I bring it with me everywhere I go. Not willing to risk a day out getting blisters and being unable to walk especially if I'm going out in a pair of new shoes.
How to use it?
Simple!
All you have to do is, after you put on your shoes, if you feel any discomfort or tightness at any part of your foot, or if you know you are prone to getting blisters at particular areas....

*~ uncap your foot glide ~*

*~ glide it over the area of the foot ~*
teochew fishball noodles ♥
There's always a long queue at this stall if you go during lunch between 12 to 2pm on weekdays....
but once in a while when the queue looks queue-able, i will join in! :D
One of the best fishball minced meat noodles... (actually not a fan of fishballs, but the handmade fishballs is really QQ!)
$3.50 for a small, $4.50 for medium and $5.50 for large. So far i've only tried medium. In comparison, Small comes only with a small bowl of soup while the ingredients are in the bowl with the noodles.
This is my medium bowl~ *yummy!~*
I have quite a big appetite for a girl though. So medium should do as well for men unless you are feeling super hungry that day ;)
Dinner date @ Mariner's Corner Restaurant
Our weekly friday dinner date was at Mariner's Corner Restaurant last week.
Highly recommended by dearie's colleague and i realised coach lim had brought us there years ago.. in fact, it was the first yr we all left borland and gathered together for my bday :$
Just dearie looking silly as usual :P
and then both of us looking silly... *shaky hands*

I really thought i was having a good enough appetite.. sooo.... i got myself a chicken & sausage combo which i could barely finish.. thanking dearie for helping me with part of it :P
my chicken & sausage combo
His roast beef.. only on weekends apparently.. recommended by the nice lady~
we were so full we could barely move.. but we managed to walk all the way from cantonment rd to chinatown! by then the food was finally starting to settle a bit...
ahh.. pretty sight... looking a little like candy balls..
day 9 of the week..
this is what happens when u work weekends.. the week just doesn't seem to end..
the only thing to look forward to is the food..
theres my half eaten salmon sashimi from sakae sushi

and a plate of stuff from a buffet lunch by orange clove.

Sunday was a tiring day.. after work at 2pm, I went to see my parents.. ended up taking a 2 hr nap due to the lack of sleep before..
woke up later and chatted as usual...showed them what I previously thought was mosquito bites until phia convinced me it was bedbugs bites!! argh!!
got home, quickly did my laundry and started the changing of sheets and flipping and tossing of the mattress and finally found 3 BBs!! just 3 and they caused me so much itch and loss of sleep! now some unsightly bite marks on my arms and legs..

dearie managed to find the bug spray yesterday after checking out forums and also advice from a colleague.
Have no new bites for 2 nites now.... but still hoping for the best *cross fingers* hopefully no BB descendents were left behind.. ; P
I read that there's no way even for doctors to simply confirm if what u are having are bedbug bites but a few things you could look out for:
1. you getting bitten continuously night after night
2. the bites are in close proximity to each other (supposedly the bedbug will feed, move a little and feed again.
3. it doesn't mean that can't be bedbugs if ur other half doesn't seem to get bitten. apparently some pple don't actually react to the bites.. although I did.. :(
lunch at 福林 yong tau foo ~
7 items - $5.60
8 items - $6.20
vege is boiled while all other items are fried to a suitable amt. Loved my crispy seaweed! ♥
Main shop is at 721 east coast road but I went to the one near office @ 127 Telok Ayer Street.
For someone who is not usually a big fan of yong tau foo, this was really pretty good!
