My last 2 days of 2012..... was spent doing.....

Got my starbucks card finally and was entitled to a complimentary handcrafted beverage and a slice of cake in my bday month~ :) Since dearie and I had some time to kill while waiting for the rest of the family to meet at grandma's place, we decided to redeem my coffee and cake at the Starbucks at Northpoint Yishun.

Had picked a vegetarian restaurant so that grandma could enjoy the food with us. Went to LingZhi restaurant at Novena Square 2. Well.. it's a buffet style vegetarian meal. Food was ok.... I didn't think there was enough variety. Just glad that grandma didn't have to watch us eat, but instead join us with the food :)

Had a double date with Sophia and Wee Liat to try out her very favourite 鸡宫保 (GongBao Chicken) claypot-ish "steamboat style" meal. We met up at Kovan and went with her expert choices of "BIG SPICY" half chicken - just right for 4 pple. It was goooooooood!~

Went home and managed to catch some late night fireworks from our room....
Yes.. from our room.. so it's become so convenient that we don't go out to watch fireworks with the crowds anymore. Problem is the fireworks look really tiny.. :P
