Merry Christmas!~ its 12 days la! so i'm not late!~ :D

finally met up wif ben ben after such a long long time ne... met kat and we squeezed our day thru the crowds from orchard mrt to centrepoint. wow.. festive yeah! SUPER CROWDED! then ben said he would take us to a very SPECIAL place for dinner.. woah! too BBOSS la! wunder why i din think abt it.. :D always a nice incentive when i meet more friends that i planned to~ so we got to see boonk too.. nice~ ^^

hmm havent been updating for a while... been a long and draining 2 weeks...
grandpa passed away on 22nd Nov '04 [1927 - 2004]. he was a very great man.. came from china after he had mi mom.. and started his coffeeshop business.. saved every cent he made.. many years later, went back to china and started a school in a small town so the children could go to school even if they couldnt afford it.. made several donations and all.. i remember how he used to tell mi abt the kids in china.. being realli smart and all.. probably faster than me at mental sums when they are like 5 yrs younger than me. *sob* now i just really miss him.. and i wasn't there when by his deathbed.. my deepest regret.. 

was really hyper yesterdae and mr nickname stealer had to break in and "hey, are u okie or not" and that kinda disrupted the feeling of happiness.. and more weight had to be dumped on me as the day continued.. hahaa but i got very dear friends there to lift me up when im down.. funny when feng was like "hahaa ur face totally changed when u were talking on the phone.. suddenly very happy.. hahaa" hmm.. NAC okie! i'm a good student! i learn these things from UPS okie.. "STOP! and 1...2...3....YES!"

hehe finally got some time to update my journal... tmr is Deepavali so i can sleep in late! yay ^^

last weekend was spent attending UPS.. it was really great! 
funny.. had alot in my mind but now its almost all blank.... 
i remembered having a phobia of attending the seminar cos of the final test.. and when it came to my turn, ivan had to build on that fear... geez... i got behind everyone again and felt like crying... >_< couldnt think of an answer to his "give me one reason why you think you're the best"
hey! its not easy okie... it took a long time for me to realise what made me feel the best at any time and that shall stay with me. :) 

during UPS also got to re-watch 'Pay It Forward' *sob* its another movie i think i will cry EVERYTIME i watch it.. then everyone got to share something abt themselves... :( darn it.. yeah.. i freaked out again.. din know what i was talking abt at all.. hahaa~ >_<"

after mi got off the phone during lunch today.. mi colleagues very enthusiastically asked mi if i wanted to join them on a holiday! so i suggested bangkok.. cos a whole bunch of girls.. hehee can go shopping oh! but chengyee was saying how her friend owned some tour agency so could prob'ly get us a good deal, and sansan said she wanted to go further away so i suggested canada.. then layhong was like ooh vancouver? then i was like oh yah! i got a friend there! but onli later then i found out while i was on the phone they were juz busy planning how to dig out info from mi!! >_<" *bish!~* so evil.... the tour thing was a fishing hook!!! *sob*

parents should be back home within an hour.. back to being cinderella again.. :P but this week din realli stay out late at all.. hehee~ was too sleepy everynight somehow.. muz be getting old.. but at least i got to meet suming for dinner on tues which was great! i missed her alot.. :)

work was tiring.. stared at the screen coding coding.. checkin checkin.. finally finished with ONE simple message.. still got this complicated one to handle.. please dun let william (my sup) stress me -_-" that horrible monitor is a CRT! tho its 19" but its destroying mi purrfecct eyesight!!~ ;P layna was so smart.. she exchanged her 17" crt for the 17" flat screen when i went home yesterdae!! ehh.. *envious*

other than that.. life's pretty boring.. jem din sms me much as he had promised.. but hmm yay!~ he found the treasured one-cent coin(i used to keep 2 in my wallet) i gave to him on his last night in SG oh!~ (okie.. the treasured is added on in case jem reads this.. hehee)
and i din wanna disturb my nickname-stealer with sms cos our projects are both on tight schedules..

2nd October, decided to be nice to mi sec 1 students cos its their first time not eligible for childrens' day celebrations le.. so bought them icecream.. gave miself a treat too :P~

today so guai.. stayed home all day to accompany mi dad while mom had her girly day out oh! hehee ^_^

hmm was chattin wif jem one of those days and found out he made music so i might get a chance to sing for his music oh!! :D can't wait! gotta do some recording for him soon so he has an idea how i sound >_<

its been a long time since i last updated mi journal. But im feeling so happy now i realli wanna remember this. :)

Last thurs my parents left for china for a short holiday, it was the same day i was posted to work at DSO.. dunno why i was so overwhelmed by the feeling that i was abandoned suddenly.. theres no more internet access during work hours.. and i hardly have any reception either.. plus i was going home to face the 4 walls alone.. (well yeah i have a little sis who's too engrossed in her own life anyway)

but things got better during the week.. altho it was realli busy and i slept like 5 hours a day. (i usually need 8 i think?) hehee~ ;D i got to drive around a bit too while parents were away.. had 2 late night suppers (something cinderella can't usually do) and played basketball too! twice on sunday cos we(me, min, and xiang) had already played before dongcheol got home.. and he wanted to play and xiang wanted to play AGAIN.. lol~~ 

i went on a 1.5 day course yesterday evening and today.. well it didnt teach me something i didnt alredi know.. but it forced me to overcome some of my little barriers and to find deep down inside what my real problems are~ i'm realli learning here.. and so far its great!

one day i shall juz burst out of mi cocoon and not be afraid at all when i stand in front of crowds and have to speak. its not tat i have some speech impediment.. but i dun noe why when i have to get on stage to speak to pple.. mi legs will weigh tons heavier and i will feel mi face blush all the way to mi ears.. >_<
before we left, david went to ask jeremy about the photos we took during the course.. hehee.. well he shoke mi hand congratulating mi abt getting the chance to get on stage (which to me was realli out of mi comfort zone.. a big stretch) but hmm.. hahaa hes really quite cute~~ ;P

feelin realli happy ~~ It has been such a great day! or should i say a great week! :D
plus plus! parents are back!! hahaa i feel love in the house again! ^_^

was so angry that all mi work went to waste cos the week i was on course, mi sup passed my work to another guy.. 
only today did he decide to ask me if i was busy with anything... and gave me a new assignment... *sigh*
oh.. and got some news abt a colleague's mom being very ill.. :(
i felt so bad not realising at all even tho' he's been carrying that gloomy face..
i din even bother to ask..
and now that i know, i have no idea how i can help him feel better... 

was feeling realli stressed abt havin alot alot of work on top of the usual work.. and was realli lookin forward to playing bball wif minmin tonight.. but a change of plans totally didnt help at all.. ended up changing my route and headed back to woodlands after a long and wasted trip to AMK... but i guess it was a better choice anyway~

there will be a better tomorrow... right?

been bothered by alot of little things~
the onli things ive been lookin to are meals at ISS, my travelling time cos thats when i can read Harry Potter, and when im back at home cuddling in bed.. still reading 'The Globlet of Fire'. hehee ^_^
lookin bright and sunny outside the window.. but im freezing in here cos mi cardigan's in the wash from gettin wet in yesterdae's rain.. >_<
ahh tonite is mi 3rd yoga lesson wif audrey.. hehee not as healthy as it could be cos of supper right after yoga at our fav. al ameen! ;D~
im realli enjoying this course thing ne.. oh... i miss school!!!

hehee i'm now at NUS ISS(Institute of System Sciences) doing my OO & C++ course for a week.. hehee food is fully included!~ we can morning tea and lunch!! its good food!! im hungry alredi.. waitin for the man to tell us its time for coffee~ :D~
its a funny feeling to leave work for a week tho.. gotta go back next week..

this morning was walkin towards mi class, then suddenly recalled that i had sent suming back to NUS (those days when she had stayed in hall) very very long ago.. and prob was one of the few opportunity i got to drive without mi dad's supervision~~ ^_^
wunder how that slipped mi mind.. cos she convinced me that i had nvr driven her since i got mi license 4 yrs ago.. >_< 

mi bestfren is gonna be an SIA stewardess oh!~ tats kinda exciting provided she remembers to buy mi a souvenir at each of her stopovers *grin*
but 4 mths of training is a long time!! at least i still wun have to miss her till next yr ba.. hehee~ :)

hmm.. met Dong Cheol on msn when i was at work so made last minute arrangements to meet him and minmin for dinner except that min had her underwater hockey interview.. mi and dc had dinner at scotts foodcourt.. guess wat we had! haha korean food! i remember giru tellin mi that scotts's korean food was one of the better ones.. but dc said the bibimbap was still not the authentic korean style.. :~( WHY!!! 
then we thot of catching a show cos minmin could join us but 'The Village' was down to the first 2 rows! >_< so ended up renting Waterboys at KAP!~ hehee it was soooo funny!~ ^_^

we waited for min a while cos she was busy cooking nice nice bee hoon for our dinner... but decided we were too tired to play anymore.. so went back upstairs to be pampered by our dear host :D

had a nice gathering today... met minmin to get to town together.. went genki sushi for lunch where we met up di and ling.. and Alison!~ been so long ne.. we used to be quite close but she couldnt even really remember mi name tho she did get the gist of it..but i guess mi chinese name isnt realli the easiest to remember.. :P then we went to sit around at coffee beans at taka while waitin for chan and qing... then to wisma foodcourt...(we used to go there for popiah during sec sch days ne...)

hee~ the best bit was Mortons The Bar (The Oriental) had that great Martini deal today!~ Martinis are served wif taaassty steak sandwiches & GREAT service provided!! think the waiters and waitresses are prob the friendliest ive seen at hotels! O_o
