Linz Day 3: *~ the day where we eat pizza and Weißwürste~*
Many thanks to Didi who made this trip so full of experiences for me.. :) There's always something to look forward to every working day. Lunch was pizza in the office. And I got to see each guy eating 1 pizza by themselves. Me? I had 2 slices, i think that's a quarter of the pizza? I was too busy eating that I only know now, even Chris hadn't taken any pics of the pizzas. :(
So with my limited gourmet vocabulary, I have to describe it. Thin crust, and juicy toppings. The crust was so thin i had to hold it with both hands and the toppings is enough! :)
Someone in office had imported some funky chilli sauces which I got to try. Hmm taste-wise, it was just ok. Acceptable for an asian. ;) But what was funky was really the labels. hehee~
A special arrangement for catering of Weißwürste. :) Traditionally eaten in Austria. But according to the guys, it wasn't really good. But i loved it, so how much better will the good ones be?? And it was supposed to be taken with another sauce. Hmm i can't really remember the facts for this very well.. :P
The Linz office has a nice terrace where we sat with beer, Weißwürste (white sausages) and HUGE pretzels. And the most memorable topic of conversation was of cos the basement. :P Didi said, he would show me his basement when we visited his place on Saturday, where his kids had all these toys and stuff. And Didi2 started making a huge joke out of it with flo. the history to the joke was the news that had been released a few weeks before my visit abt the crazy man who kidnapped his own daughter in the basement in Austria. hmm..
Couldn't bear to just let one night go with nothing exciting done. So Chris and I made plans to visit Hauptplatz, Sky Garden for some drinks. Joachim also extended his friendly gesture by joining us. Michi came much much later after work and his sporty activities near some lake at the office?
We took a slow walk back to the hotel, remembering the nice cool weather... which might have been a little too windy now that i think about it... :D
