Linz Day 4: Shopping Day!
The breakfast group grows bigger as we had Joachim from Germany join us as well. :)
On our way to lunch...
And we met a snake.. which Stan picked up!! I'm sure he would have swung it around and maybe brought it back to office as a pet, if not because some of us were too shocked. :P
Its amazing how basements are always COLD in Austria. hmm the carpark was COLD. It had to be less than 18 deg C. And these are bikes belonging to the Borland bike team on display in a cage. How cool is that!
Gudrun & Michi brought us to Plus City for some good time shopping! No pics taken at the shopping mall unfortunately, cos we were too busy SHOPPING!~ :D But a short description is always good. There was Interio (kind of like ikea) with nice home furnishing stuff where Gudrun got some flower pots. And Swarovski where Alan got his wife a nice pair of earrings. I remember a big toy shop..(like ToysRUs) and also a hmm.. what would u call it, where I got phia's Nina Ricci and Michi got himself some cologne. Also I mistook a video stall for a cinema because of the movie posters outside. But there's also supposed to be a cinema on another side of Plus City. There I also got some coffee powder which was highly recommended by Gudrun for its quality and taste. :)
Arriving a little too late for the release party at Waldschänke Exenschläger when the sun had already set and the kitchen was closed.

Although the kitchen was closed, they still kindly prepared bread with some cheesy spread for us. I thought it was like sour cream, but Flo said its some kind of cheese? And dinner always comes with a Radler for me in Austria. Helps to keep me warm on cold nights. :) Flo said he had 5 Radlers that night, i'm still not believing him though.. Impressions are hard to change.. ;)
Sadly, the weather had also started to worsen from this night. And they say its because i had not finished my food during my meals. :( There was just a slight drizzle which lasted a few min... but that marked the end of my clear blue sky.
A very tiring but fulfilling night. Thanks to Gudrun & Michi. :)
