*~ i finally met Kat!~*

so much for our "world class bus service"... i was supposed to meet Kat at 7:15pm.. so rushed off from office at 6:15pm, reached the busstop at abt 6:25pm... and waited.. the first 963 appeared at 6:50pm.. (25 min after i was there) and the bendy bus just left the busstop-full of people behind cos it was packed to the door! luckily the nxt bus (single cabin only!) came at abt 7pm.. woah.. the nxt busstop had like a swarm of people LAH! -_- "kiasu-ism" nvr fails to show even when everyone's squashed and unhappy! this chubby lady with her 3 chubby (understatement) kids decided to stuff themselves right at the front of the bus after deciding there weren't seats at the back. she tried to put all 3 kids on that ledge (where the old transitlink machine used to be) which is right beside the front door.. imagine the JAM she created. 2 guys got up from their seats to let this chubby lady take them but she lost one to another indian lady with 2 kids. well and lots of people got left behind at the busstop.. which would make them have waited more than 30 min..
i dunno why inconsiderate behaviour really makes me mad, plus bad education for the kids!!

anyways, dinner with Kat was good.. hehe we finally caught up since the last time we met in december 2004. haha~ Swensen's was having this catfish promotion.. heh.. and this is me with my catfish baked rice....~

this is Kat and her catfish stew which has no trace of catfish bits.. according to the waiter, according to the cook, the catfish is used to make the stew.. O_o i dun really know how these cooking stuff work.. heh..~

anyways, the sets came with soup/salad, coffee/tea/softdrink and a scoop of Mudpie icecream which wasn't too bad.

the best bit is catching up with Kat.. one of the closest friends i had when i was staying in Hall during school days. Very sweet indonesian girl.. a very silly one too.. and one who's unfortunately younger than me considering we're born in the same yr ;)
we even got to walk around a bit although i was the one that did the buying (necessary stuff okie!) :P well.. Kat got strepsils.. ^^
